Reported on 8 October 2026, the Spring/Summer 2027 collection “Izihlwele Zivumile” (“The Ancestors Have Approved”) is MaXhosa Africa’s sixth Paris season and its first full show on the official womenswear ready-to-wear calendar. What matters is the craft on stage: artisan-woven grass mats for the set, handmade rings, sculptural eyewear by Cyrus Kabiru from discarded materials, and a closing poem by Thebe Ikalafeng.
